Wheat BATYKO

Soft winter wheat of the BATYKO variety is a medium-maturing and low-stature variety of Triticum aestivum L., characterized by high lodging resistance. The average yield in the Central Black Earth region reaches 58.3 c/ha, in the North Caucasus — 53.9 c/ha, and in the Lower Volga — 25.3 c/ha, indicating the high productivity of the variety under various conditions.

The BATYKO variety has moderate susceptibility to brown rust and susceptibility to powdery mildew and Fusarium head blight, while being highly susceptible to yellow rust and Septoria. Despite this, the variety maintains high lodging resistance and is not prone to shedding or sprouting in the field, which contributes to maintaining crop quality.
