Wheat Anulka

Stable Yields from "Stepova" Breeders

The "Anulka" wheat variety is a product of the breeding efforts of NVA "Stepova," a company whose reputation in the Ukrainian agricultural sector is built on the adaptability of its varieties to local climatic conditions. This variety has carved out a niche as a reliable solution for intensive farming, where farmers prioritize predictable results through established technology over risky experiments.

Biological Potential and Characteristics

In the field, "Anulka" performs as a mid-height variety (80-90 cm stem height). This height is optimal for preventing lodging, which is critical in regions susceptible to strong winds and heavy rainfall before harvest. The grain features strong physical characteristics, with a 1,000-seed weight of 40-45 grams, ensuring high-quality test weight metrics.

Agronomic Resistance

The true value of "Anulka" lies in its genetic defense. NVA "Stepova" breeders focused on resistance to key pathogens that annually reduce farmers' profits:

• High resistance threshold to wheat leaf rust.
• Effective counteraction against septoria.
• Minimization of risks regarding Fusarium head blight.
• Resistance to powdery mildew.

These parameters allow for a reduction in pesticide load by cutting the number of fungicide applications without compromising crop health. A yield potential of 6-7 tons per hectare confirms the variety's effectiveness when supported by proper fertilization and timely sowing. "Anulka" is the choice for those seeking a balance between high productivity and robust plant immunity in the conditions of the Ukrainian steppe and forest-steppe zones.
