The hybrid maize Vimpel MV is a medium-early Ukrainian variety with FAO 270, registered in the Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine since 2008. It is intended for grain production in the forest-steppe and Polissia regions, demonstrating high yields of up to 110-120 ц/га (11-12.5 т/га) and stability even under adverse climatic conditions. Plants reach a height of 240-270 cm, with ears set at 90-100 cm, and ear length is approximately 24 cm. Grain is dent-type, with 1000-grain weight reaching 280-290 g, ensuring high grain yield (about 78%) and starch content at 74%. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to drought, cold, lodging, as well as diseases such as blister and dusty smut, maize rust, and stalk rots. These traits make Vimpel MV a reliable choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality harvest with minimal agronomic inputs. Vimpel MV is characterized by intense grain moisture release and high protein content (9.8-10.2%), further enhancing its value for grain production. Hybrid seeds are treated with the fungicide protectant Maxim 025 and biostimulant, and are coated with an eco-friendly paint free of polymers, ensuring reliable protection and improved germination. Packaging is done in paper kraft bags of 25 kg. The recommended planting density is 75-90 thousand plants per hectare, depending on the growing region, which promotes optimal crop development and maximum productivity.
