Wheat ALEKSEICH

Stability and Performance in the Field

Winter wheat "Alekseich" is the go-to choice for farmers who prioritize predictability and ease of management. Developed by the P.P. Lukyanenko National Grain Center, this variety has gained a reputation for being reliable. It follows standard agronomic protocols perfectly and consistently delivers without surprises like lodging or disease outbreaks. With a plant height of 70–80 cm, the crop stands strong against wind, making harvest logistics efficient and minimizing downtime for combine operators.

Phytosanitary Defense

The primary concern for any agronomist is disease pressure, specifically rust and fusarium. "Alekseich" addresses these issues with robust natural resistance. The variety offers comprehensive protection against major pathogens:

• High resistance to yellow, brown, and stem rust, reducing the need for emergency fungicide applications.
• Low susceptibility to Septoria and Fusarium head blight under proper crop rotation.
• Strong defense against powdery mildew, even in high-moisture conditions.

This natural immunity translates directly into reduced chemical costs, improving the bottom line for every ton produced.

Yield Potential and Density

With a productive stem density of 4.5–5.0 million per hectare, this variety demonstrates excellent tillering capacity, which is essential for a dense, high-yielding canopy. Under intensive mineral nutrition, a yield potential of 8–10 tons per hectare is an achievable target. The grain has a solid test weight (35–40 grams per 1,000 seeds), ensuring high quality for processing and storage. The vegetative period is well-balanced, allowing it to adapt to various regional climatic conditions.

For the field operator, "Alekseich" is a straightforward, high-performance tool. It responds well to nitrogen top-dressing, resists lodging, and allows for precise harvest planning. If your operation focuses on maximizing efficiency and minimizing risks, this variety is a proven asset for your crop rotation.
