Lucerne NEFELI

Adaptability to Extreme Conditions

The 'Nefeli' alfalfa variety from Golden West Seed Bulgaria is a breeding response to the climatic challenges of recent years. In an era where temperature fluctuations and moisture deficits are becoming the norm, this variety demonstrates exceptional endurance. The plant's root system is capable of efficiently utilizing moisture from deep soil horizons, allowing the crop to maintain vegetative activity even during periods of severe atmospheric drought.

Field Performance and Phytosanitary Profile

One of the key characteristics of 'Nefeli' is its high resistance to lodging, which is critical for maintaining hay quality in dense stands. The variety possesses a robust immune system against a complex of fungal and bacterial diseases common to alfalfa, including Fusarium and Anthracnose. This reduces the need for additional fungicide applications and ensures the production of environmentally friendly forage.

• Heat Tolerance: Maintains leaf turgor under extreme temperatures, minimizing nutrient loss.
• Regeneration: High regrowth rate after each cutting, ensuring stable yields throughout the entire season.
• Growing Zones: The variety is adapted for all agro-climatic zones of Ukraine, demonstrating stability both in irrigated areas and under rain-fed farming conditions.

The state registration of the variety in 2026 confirms its compliance with modern standards of productivity and forage quality, making it a strategic choice for farms focused on long-term crop utilization.
