Vika Yaroslava 1519 – a high-yielding spring vetch variety created for cultivation in moderate climates. The plant features sturdy stems and wind resistance, along with excellent adaptability to various soil conditions. The maturation period is 120–130 days.
The variety's fruits are large, bright, and have high protein and fat content, making them valuable for both food production and feed raw materials. Due to resistance to fungal diseases – fusarium, rust, and powdery mildew – the yield reaches 2.5–3 tons per hectare (or up to 2.5 kg per square meter), and the fruits store well.
For successful cultivation, nitrogen and phosphorus application is recommended during the active growth period. The high-quality seeds of the variety are certified and suitable for both direct sowing in open ground and greenhouse planting. Vika Yaroslava 1519 is suitable for both field and garden farming, and can be used decoratively due to dense bushes and temperature fluctuation resistance.
