Tulip Twin Spark

An Elegant Triumph Class Leader

The Twin Spark tulip is a hallmark of the Triumph class, known for its exceptional resistance to disease and robust performance in the field. Breeders focused on resilience, equipping this cultivar with a genetic shield against a wide range of pathogens, which is vital for both commercial growers and large-scale landscaping.

Biological Resilience and Market Value

The primary appeal of this variety lies in its high health status. Unlike many high-maintenance tulip varieties, Twin Spark demonstrates remarkable tolerance to common environmental stressors, specifically:

• Verticillium wilt and Sclerotinia (root system resilience);
• Downy mildew (Peronospora);
• Phomopsis and Phoma (stem and leaf fungal infections).

Such natural immunity allows growers to reduce chemical inputs, making it an excellent choice for sustainable farming practices.

Visual Profile and Garden Traits

As a member of the Triumph class, Twin Spark exhibits the classic features: a strong, medium-height stem and a dense, goblet-shaped bloom that holds its structure well under variable weather conditions. The deep, rich lilac hue adds a premium aesthetic to any floral display, ensuring its popularity both in curated landscape designs and as a top-tier choice for professional spring forcing.
