Chrysanthemum Wonderful Arlecchino

Late-Season Elegance from the Grishko Botanical Garden

"Chudovyi Arlekin" is a standout example of Ukrainian selective breeding. While most chrysanthemums peak in September, this variety takes center stage just as nature prepares for winter. In November, when gardens usually lose their color, this hybrid reveals its stunning pompon-shaped blossoms.

Why this hybrid is unique

• Extreme Longevity: With a flowering period exceeding 40 days, it is one of the most durable varieties in its class, keeping your garden alive deep into the cold season.
• Perfect Form Factor: Reaching a compact height of 30–60 cm, the plant maintains a naturally rounded shape without the need for support or pruning.
• Local Resilience: Bred by the National Botanical Garden in Kyiv, it is specifically adapted to local climatic fluctuations, offering frost resistance that imported greenhouse varieties often lack.

Pros and Cons: The biggest advantage is its versatility as a container plant. You can move these pots to brighten up a porch or terrace as the temperatures drop. The only "weakness" is its late-blooming cycle: it is not intended for early autumn displays. If you want flowers that withstand the first frost and bring life to the bleak late-autumn landscape, this is your top-tier choice.

"Chudovyi Arlekin" is designed for gardeners who want to extend the growing season as long as possible and appreciate high-quality local genetics that thrive where others go dormant.
