Tulip Sympathy

Stability and Aesthetics: Why «Sympathie» is a Professional Choice

The «Sympathie» Triumph tulip holds a unique position in both commercial floriculture and private gardening. The key feature of this variety is its phenomenal resistance to a complex of fungal diseases. While many Triumph tulips require frequent fungicide applications, «Sympathie» successfully resists white mold, gray mold (Botrytis), downy mildew, phomopsis, and phoma leaf spot.

Agrotechnical Profile

As a mid-season variety, this tulip displays a highly predictable development cycle. The intense red color of the petals retains its depth even under fluctuating weather conditions, distinguishing it from other red hybrids prone to sun-fading. Its medium stem height makes it versatile: it is equally excellent for floral arrangements and landscaping.

Strengths and Weaknesses

• Strengths: High immunity to soil-borne and foliar pathogens, a sturdy flower stem, and excellent transportability for cut flowers.
• Weaknesses: Like most Triumph class varieties, it requires high-quality drainage. In cases of excessive moisture around the bulb, even a strong genetic resistance to rot can be compromised.

This variety is optimal for commercial greenhouses and farming businesses focused on minimizing chemical inputs while maintaining high-quality produce. «Sympathie» is a reliable choice for those who value predictable results without the risk of crop loss due to fungal outbreaks.
