Tulip The Mounties

Reliability and Aesthetics for Your Farm

The «The Mounties» tulip belongs to the Triumph class, the most sought-after group for commercial cultivation. This hybrid has become a benchmark for growers who plan for mid-season cutting and want to minimize the risk of losing marketability due to soil-borne diseases.

Agrotechnics and Protection

The key advantage of this hybrid is its high genetic resistance to Fusarium and Verticillium wilt. In intensive greenhouse environments or crate forcing, this allows for a reduction in the costs associated with fungicide bulb treatment. «The Mounties» is forgiving of minor agrotechnical errors that might result in crop loss with less resilient varieties.

Operational Scenarios

• Commercial Forcing: Due to its medium height, the variety is compact and efficient for high-density planting, maximizing the yield of marketable flowers per square meter.
• Floral Design: The blend of pink and violet hues makes this flower ideal for spring bouquets. Its firm bud retains its shape during transport, a critical factor for wholesale distribution.
• Landscaping: The mid-season blooming period makes it perfect for creating vibrant flower beds in parks where predictable results are required without constant daily phytosanitary monitoring.

By choosing this hybrid, growers ensure a predictable outcome: sturdy stems, resistance to pathogens, and stable demand for a flower with a unique and sophisticated color palette.
