Tulip Hot Pants

Striking Classic: Hot Pants Tulip

Within the mid-season blooming Triumph tulip segment, the 'Hot Pants' variety holds a unique position thanks to its recognizable two-tone coloration. Developed for professional cultivation and landscape design, this variety combines visual appeal with resilience that is notable for its class.

The signature lilac-and-white petal pattern gives the flowers a refined look, making them highly sought after for both commercial cut flower production and spring garden beds. With a mid-season flowering window and moderate plant height, this hybrid fits perfectly into tiered garden arrangements.

Health and Resilience

For growers and agronomists, 'Hot Pants' is particularly valued for its inherent genetic protection. The variety demonstrates strong resistance to two primary threats for bulbous crops:

• Fusarium wilt, which is a common cause of yield loss in both greenhouses and open fields.
• Verticillium wilt, which affects the plant's vascular system.

This durability reduces the need for heavy fungicide applications and supports the production of high-quality bulbs.

Market Reputation

Throughout its time on the market, 'Hot Pants' has established itself as a stable and predictable variety. It is favored for the classic 'Triumph' standard: a refined goblet-shaped bloom that retains its decorative quality well after cutting. It remains a dependable choice for those balancing spring garden aesthetics with high plant vitality.
