Tulip Thule

Stability and Predictability in Floral Production

For professional growers, the «Thule» tulip variety is valued not for novelty, but for its operational reliability. As a classic «Triumph» class tulip, it is designed for efficiency, forgiving minor management errors and proving itself as a dependable asset for spring sales.

Maintenance and Operational Performance

From an agronomical standpoint, Thule simplifies the daily greenhouse routine. Its medium stem height ensures the plants are self-supporting, eliminating the need for labor-intensive staking. The stems are robust, keeping the crop upright even in high-humidity conditions, while the petal density ensures excellent vase life and durability during shipping, which is critical for minimizing post-harvest losses.

Disease Resistance and Resource Optimization

The standout feature of this variety is its natural robustness. It shows high resistance to major pathogens such as Peronospora, Phomopsis, Phoma, and rust. This resilience significantly lowers the cost of fungicide applications, reducing the chemical burden on the soil and lowering the total production cost. For the operator, this means less time spent on pest and disease monitoring and more time dedicated to logistics and sales.

Visual Appeal and Timing

The rich blend of red and lilac tones provides a premium, high-demand look that appeals to professional florists. With a medium flowering period, it fits perfectly into standard production schedules, allowing for precise planning. Thule is a professional-grade tool designed for businesses where quality consistency and high yield rates are the top priorities.
