The primary use of 'Frodo Polisskyi' is for grain. The light color of the grain in phenol tests indicates its suitability for the milling industry and the production of high-quality animal feed. The moderately dense, pyramidal ear structure ensures optimal grain filling, which positively impacts the test weight and overall yield of the final product.

Storage and Transportability

The variety features balanced morphological traits: a medium stem length and a moderately dense ear contribute to good lodging resistance, which is crucial for mechanized harvesting. The absence of pubescence on the outer surface of the lower glume and a moderate waxy bloom on the ear and leaves reduce moisture accumulation, simplifying post-harvest processing.
