Triticale Ayaks

Reliable Yields: «Ajax» Winter Triticale

In the challenging and unpredictable climate of Ukraine, farmers are increasingly turning to triticale as a crop with high adaptive potential. The «Ajax» variety, developed by PP "Sort", is designed for producers looking to minimize risks when cultivating cereals on soils of varying quality, including those with lower fertility.

Crop Protection and Field Immunity

The primary advantage of «Ajax» lies in its comprehensive genetic resistance to the most common pathogens that frequently deplete agricultural profits. By choosing this variety, you gain a built-in shield against several critical threats:

• Anthracnose and Septoria: The plant maintains healthy vegetative mass even during prolonged wet spring seasons.
• Fusarium: The risk of grain quality degradation is significantly reduced, which is crucial during long-term storage.
• Cercosporosis and Powdery Mildew: The variety effectively resists leaf tissue damage, ensuring full ear filling.

Practical Application in Farm Operations

«Ajax» is positioned as a reliable winter crop that demonstrates stability across diverse soil types. It is widely used to provide livestock sectors with high-quality fodder, as well as for commercial grain production. Due to its strong natural immunity, the variety requires fewer fungicide applications, allowing for optimized crop protection expenditures in intensive farming technologies. Within crop rotation systems, this variety acts as an excellent predecessor; its powerful root system effectively contributes to soil structure improvement.
