BG Triflex 2S is a triticale, a selectively bred hybrid of wheat and rye, possessing a unique combination of agronomic and biological characteristics of its parent forms. This crop is distinguished by high yield potential for both grain and green mass, as well as enhanced adaptive properties, including resistance to fungal diseases. The grain of triticale contains increased levels of protein and lysine, making it valuable for feed use and compound feed production.
Triticale BG Triflex 2S is widely used as a feed crop for the production of compound feed, flour, starch, and malt. Due to its high yield, which can reach up to 100 centners per hectare, and resistance to drought, lodging, diseases, and pests, this variety is suitable for cultivation on various soil types and under different climatic conditions. Plant height is approximately 130-140 cm, and the 1000-grain weight ranges from 52.3 to 54.8 grams. Sowing rate depends on climate and soil type and typically amounts to 120-150 kg/ha.
Additionally, triticale BG Triflex 2S is used for producing green mass and silage, expanding its application potential in agriculture. Thanks to its winter hardiness and drought resistance, the crop is successfully cultivated throughout Ukraine, contributing to the biologicalization of agricultural production and ensuring stable yields even under adverse conditions.
