DOCTRINA 110

Triticale variety DOCTRINA 110 is a mid-late winter cereal variety recommended for cultivation in the Central-Black Earth and Middle Volga regions. It is characterized by good winter hardiness, drought resistance, and high resistance to lodging, ensuring yield stability under various climatic conditions. The variety's vegetative period ranges from 291 to 320 days, and plant height varies between 82-120 cm; notably, the stem under the ear is densely hairy, providing additional plant protection.

The grain of the DOCTRINA 110 variety is red with a yellowish tint, oval-elongated, and of medium size (45-50 g), belonging to the wheat type. The ear is dense, prismatic in shape, with 27-31 spikelets, white and awned, with large white awns spreading sideways. The variety exhibits high resistance to powdery mildew, fusariums, leaf septoria, and is weakly affected by brown rust, although it may be susceptible to snow mold. Thanks to these characteristics, the variety demonstrates high productivity and disease resistance.

The DOCTRINA 110 variety differs in its high yield potential, which is realized on enhanced agro-conditions. The average grain yield in the region is about 38.1 ц/га, while in variety trials over five years it reached 64.1 ц/га. Seeds of the variety are used in confectionery and brewing industries, bread making, and for preparing compound feeds, making it universal and in high demand in agriculture. The breeder of the variety is V.V. Dokuchaev Russian State Agrarian University of Agriculture named after V.V. Dokuchaev, the Central-Black Earth Strip.
