Description ILIA
Winter triticale variety ILIA® is a modern grain variety developed for efficient use in agriculture. This variety is characterized by high yield and is adapted to various climatic conditions, making it a universal choice for agrarians. ILIA® belongs to grain-forage varieties, while flour from its grain can be used for baking bread using rye technology, expanding its usage possibilities.

Plants of the ILIA® variety are medium-height, with a height of 105 to 115 cm depending on growing conditions, have a semi-erect intermediate bush type and are resistant to lodging. The variety is early-maturing, heading and ripening occur 6-8 days earlier compared to the standard variety Brat. The mass of 1000 seeds is 43.9 g, indicating good grain quality. Yield varies depending on the region and reaches from 50.1 to 58.1 c/ha.

ILIA® has high resistance to a number of diseases, including brown and yellow rust, septoria and powdery mildew, however, it is susceptible to fusarium of the ear. The variety is characterized by enhanced frost resistance and high drought resistance, which allows for successful cultivation in various regions of Russia, such as Central, Volgo-Vyatsk, Central-Black Earth, North Caucasus, Middle Volga, and Lower Volga. These qualities make ILIA® a reliable and productive choice for agrarians seeking a stable yield in complex climatic conditions.
