Maize P8834WX

The P8834WX corn hybrid is a mid-season simple hybrid with a waxy grain type, designed for starch, syrup, and alcohol production. It possesses characteristics making it particularly valuable for industrial use, including excellent moisture shedding and high drought tolerance. This hybrid belongs to FAO group 290, indicating a medium-early maturity period, optimal for recommended planting dates.

One key feature of P8834WX is its resistance to stalk lodging, which ensures crop preservation and simplifies harvesting. The hybrid is treated with a fungicide, significantly enhancing its protection against diseases, especially under continuous corn cultivation. Additionally, it demonstrates good resistance to common diseases, contributing to stable yields and reduced losses.

P8834WX is well-adapted to minimal soil tillage and is not recommended for late harvest, which is important to consider when planning agronomic activities. It is recommended to plant it during optimal times, avoiding early and late sowings. Due to its properties, this hybrid is a reliable choice for producers focused on starch-syrup production and the alcohol industry.
