Negrityanka is a mid-season table beet variety with a vegetation period from 100 to 120 days. This variety is characterized by high yield, reaching 5-6 kg per square meter, which exceeds the standards of the Cylinder variety. The root crops of Negrityanka are large, round in shape, weighing from 170 to 450 grams, with a smooth surface and intense dark-burgundy or dark-red coloration. In cross-section, the flesh is dark, practically without distinct rings, juicy and tender, with a purple hue. The dry matter content reaches 16%, and the total sugar level is about 9.7%, which ensures excellent taste qualities.
The leaves of the variety are oval, green with red veins, slightly pitted and with moderate wavy edges. The petioles have purple coloring on the underside, and the leaf rosette is semi-erect. Beet Negrityanka is rich in vitamins and trace elements, which makes it beneficial for health. Due to its characteristics, the variety is well-suited for home cooking, including the preparation of vinaigrettes and salads, as well as for canning and processing.
A feature of Negrityanka is its good storability and ability to withstand long-term storage during the winter period without loss of quality. The absence of GMOs confirms the naturalness of the variety. All these properties make Negrityanka a versatile and in-demand table beet variety that combines high yield, excellent taste qualities, and ease of use.
