Description Karina
Kulina beet of the Karina variety is an early, high-yielding hybrid with a vegetation period of about 90 days. The plants are intended for growing in open ground, with sowing at the end of April — beginning of May according to the scheme 30x60 centimeters and seed depth of 2 centimeters. Root crops are cylindrical in shape, smooth and uniform, reaching a length of up to 20 centimeters and are distinguished by a dark red color without white rings in cross-section, which indicates high quality of the product.

The Karina variety differs in high drought and heat resistance, which allows for successful cultivation in various climatic conditions. Root crops have a small area of stem attachment, which facilitates mechanized harvesting. Beets are well preserved during storage, which makes them in demand both for processing and for sale on the fresh market, including bundled sales.

For sowing, it is recommended to use a sowing rate of 50-60 seeds per square meter, with the possibility of sowing from early April to early July. Seeds are packaged in professional packaging of 2 grams, containing from 500 to 1000 seeds, which ensures convenience and accuracy during planting. Moderate watering contributes to optimal plant development and achieving maximum yield.
