Description Karmazyn
Karmin — a medium-maturing variety of table beet, Polish selection, with a vegetation period of 100–115 days. The roots are dark red, have a regular round shape, a diameter of 8–12 cm, and weigh up to 400 grams. The flesh is tender, sweet, and free of white rings, ensuring excellent taste and making the variety suitable for fresh consumption, culinary processing, and long-term winter storage.

This variety is high-yielding — up to 25 tons of marketable roots per hectare, and up to 500–900 kg per 100 square meters. Karmin is adaptable and suitable for both home and commercial cultivation. Seeds are sown in spring (April–May) or autumn (October–November), at a rate of 1–2 g per square meter. Sowing depth is 3–4 cm, when soil temperature reaches 6–8°С.

The crop is cold-tolerant and thrives on fertilized, light, and fertile soils. Special attention should be paid to watering during seed germination and root formation. Karmin is suitable for mechanical harvesting, which simplifies harvest and increases cultivation efficiency.
