KABANCHIK

The Eggplant variety Kabanchik is an early-ripening variety intended for growing in open ground, including cold climatic zones. The plant is semi-stump, with a sturdy and low-growing compact bush up to 40 cm high. It forms 4-6 large pear-shaped fruits of bright lilac color, each weighing from 300 grams and more. Despite the heavy fruit load, the bushes do not require tying, which facilitates care for the plant.

The pulp of the fruits is snow-white, dense, with a small number of seeds and genetically absent bitterness, which makes the eggplants particularly attractive for home cooking. Thanks to these qualities, the fruits do not require preliminary soaking and are excellent for making caviar, canning, drying, and freezing for the winter.

To grow the Kabanchik eggplant, it is recommended to sow seeds for seedlings in the third decade of March, and transplant into the ground in the first decade of June. On one square meter, plant 4-5 plants, ensuring them uniform illumination. During the initial growth period, deep loose soil is needed after watering, and during the flowering period the plant responds positively to nitrogen fertilization. The variety is characterized by stable yield and resistance to weather stresses, which makes it a reliable choice for gardeners.
