Table beet variety Cadri is a medium-early hybrid with a vegetation period of 90 to 105 days, allowing it to be grown both on industrial scales and in home gardens. The roots are cylindrical or round, up to 20 cm long and 4-6 cm in diameter, with a rich dark red or dark purple hue. The beet flesh is uniform, juicy, without white rings or veins, indicating high quality and appeal for fresh consumption and processing. The leaf rosette is small and vertically oriented, facilitating care and harvest. The variety is characterized by high yield — from 4.1 to 6.9 kg per square meter — as well as resistance to adverse weather conditions, including drought and high temperatures. Cadri beet does not form rings even under drastic climate changes, enhancing its market appeal. Moreover, the hybrid exhibits high resistance to powdery mildew and rizoctonia, reducing the need for frequent protective treatments and promoting eco-friendly cultivation. The recommended seeding density is 450-550 thousand seeds per hectare, with optimal soil moisture supporting maximum root development. Seeding of Cadri beet is recommended from early April to early July, allowing adaptation to various climatic conditions. The variety is cold-resistant and suitable for open-field cultivation. Due to its high sugar content (14-15%) and excellent taste qualities, the beet is widely used for fresh consumption, storage, and processing. Seeds are produced in Ukraine and are GMO-free, ensuring product safety and quality.
