Description BIG HILL
The eggplant variety "Big Hill" is a mid-early Siberian selection characterized by very large, spherical fruits. The period from germination to technical maturity is 120-130 days. The plant is adapted to Siberian conditions and grows successfully both in open ground and under film cover. Bushes are medium-sized, sparse, and reach a height of 60 to 80 cm, which facilitates care and harvest collection.

The fruits are dark purple with white, dense flesh, with an average weight of about 700 grams, although a record champion fruit with a diameter of 20 cm and a weight of 1850 grams has been recorded. Such a large berry can feed a whole family with delicious dishes. The flesh is characterized by a small number of seeds and an excellent taste, making this variety ideal for home cooking and various types of preserves.

The yield of the variety reaches up to 7 kg per square meter. To obtain large fruits, in late July, 5-7 large ovaries are left on the plant, while the remaining flowers and ovaries are removed. This promotes the formation of large and high-quality fruits, which is an important advantage of the "Big Hill" variety for gardeners and farmers.
