Eggplant MEX 400

Precision performance: Marutane’s MEx 400 hybrid

The «MEx 400» eggplant, developed by the Japanese breeder Marutane, is a professional-grade hybrid designed for versatility and consistent yields. Whether you are operating high-tech greenhouses or traditional open-field plantations, this variety provides the agronomic stability required for commercial-scale production.

Practical application in professional farming

The primary advantage of the MEx 400 lies in its genetic plasticity, allowing it to thrive in varying environmental conditions. For commercial growers, this translates into a reliable crop that meets strict market standards for uniformity and quality:

• Greenhouse production: Ideal for intensive indoor cultivation, the plant structure allows for efficient canopy management and space optimization, critical for profitable greenhouse cycles.
• Open-field cultivation: The hybrid demonstrates significant resilience to fluctuating temperatures and common field stresses, ensuring that harvest volumes remain stable throughout the season.

By incorporating seeds from Marutane into your rotation, you leverage the benefits of Japanese breeding excellence. MEx 400 is known for its strong growth vigor and excellent fruit set, streamlining maintenance requirements and simplifying harvest logistics for the farm team.
