Camaro F1 table beet is a high-yielding, mid-season hybrid of Dutch selection developed by Hazera. The vegetation period is 105-110 days from emergence, allowing for a stable harvest for both fresh market and long-term storage. This hybrid is highly adaptable to various climatic conditions, including hot summers and drought, as well as resistance to cultivation stress factors. Camaro F1 is not prone to bolting and exhibits high resistance to leaf diseases, simplifying care and reducing harvest losses. Camaro beets have a correct round shape, uniform in size and weight, with a smooth dark burgundy skin and a thin, small tail. The average weight of the root is 200-250 grams, diameter ranging from 8 to 10 cm. The flesh has a crisp texture, moderate juiciness, and pronounced sweetness. When boiled, the beet retains its rich color and does not darken during storage, making it attractive for culinary use as well as processing. The small leaf attachment area allows for efficient use of harvesting combines for mechanized harvest, which is especially important for farms and industrial-scale production. The Camaro F1 hybrid is versatile in application: it is grown for early bunch production, late sowings for storage, and processing. The recommended sowing rate is 400-550 thousand seeds per hectare, ensuring optimal plant density and maximum yield of marketable product. Thanks to its characteristics and resistance to adverse conditions, Camaro F1 beet is a reliable choice for cultivation in various regions, including southern areas of Ukraine with high solar activity.
