Snow White

The 'Snow White' eggplant variety is a medium-height plant, reaching up to one meter in height under greenhouse conditions. The fruits of this variety are oval-shaped, weighing 180-200 grams, and ripen over 110-115 days. During the ripening process, their color changes from white to yellow. The flesh of the fruits is dense, white, and completely free of bitterness, making this variety particularly attractive for culinary use.

Snow White is excellent for growing both in open ground and in greenhouses. For successful growth, it is recommended to tie the plants to stakes and adhere to a planting scheme of 40x60 cm. Sowing for seedlings is done in late February, pricking out is done at the seedling cotyledon stage, and seedling transplantation is done in late May. After transplantation, the plants are formed by removing all side shoots and leaves up to the first fork, as well as leaving 5-6 of the largest developing fruits on the plant, removing the rest of the flowers and developing fruits.

This eggplant variety is characterized by high yield – from 7.5 to 9.5 kg per square meter. Thanks to the dense and tender flesh without bitterness, Snow White is one of the best varieties for baking with tomatoes and making eggplant caviar. The optimal soil temperature for seed germination is 25-28 °C, which promotes good seedling development and subsequent fruiting.
