RMS 127

RMS 127 is a single-seed diploid hybrid of sugar beet on a sterile normal type (N) basis, intended for high-quality yields. The variety is characterized by a medium ripening period and a cylindrical root shape, which is 80-95% buried in the soil. Due to these features, the plant adapts well to various climatic conditions and ensures stable harvests.

The hybrid is distinguished by high yield and sugar content. In the Central region, the yield reaches 72.1 t/ha with a sugar content of 22.4%, ensuring high sugar collection. In other regions, the figures are slightly lower but also remain at a decent level. RMS 127 has good resistance to the main diseases of sugar beet: medium resistance to cercosporosis and high resistance to root rots and powdery mildew, which reduces the risk of yield losses and increases the economic efficiency of cultivation.
