Description ST 002 M
Sugar beet ST 002 M is a diploid hybrid developed by the company «Sevanderhove». This variety is distinguished by its high yield and resistance to rhizomania, ensuring reliability and stability of the harvest. Due to the increased sugar content in the roots, this hybrid is an excellent raw material for sugar production at factories. ST 002 M is adapted for cultivation in various regions of Ukraine, demonstrating good drought resistance, which is especially important under variable climate conditions.

Sugar beet is a heat-loving and heat-tolerant crop, optimally developing at temperatures of 20-22°C, but capable of effective photosynthesis even at temperatures above 40°C. From the first days of growth, the plant requires sufficient moisture, especially during the intensive root formation period in July-August. Lack of moisture during this period can lead to an increased nitrogen content in the roots, which negatively affects the quality of the harvest. Thanks to a well-developed root system capable of absorbing water from a depth of up to 2.5 meters, sugar beet ST 002 M has good drought resistance.

Growing this hybrid requires adherence to agronomic norms, including optimal temperature regimes and ensuring sufficient moisture during critical growth phases. Using ST 002 M seeds allows obtaining high-quality raw material with high sugar content, making this variety in demand among sugar beet producers. Such an approach ensures a stable and efficient yield, contributing to the development of the sugar industry.
