RAMONSKY MS 46

Ramonsky MS 46 is a sugar beet hybrid intended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the Volga-Vyatskaya, Central Black Earth, North Caucasian, and Western Siberian regions. This technical crop is characterized by a cylindrical root shape with a soil immersion depth of 80 to 95%. Ramonsky MS 46 is characterized by high yield and sugar content, making it in demand for sugar production and other products. In the Central Black Earth region, the average yield is about 456.7 centners per hectare, sugar content reaches 18.4%, and sugar collection is 84.2 centners per hectare. In the Voronezh region, the hybrid exceeded the standard in sugar content by 0.2% and sugar collection by 10.2 centners per hectare.

Sugar beet Ramonsky MS 46 prefers a warm climate, light, and sufficient moisture. The optimal temperature for seed germination is 10–12 °C, and for growth and development – 20–22 °C. Hybrid seedlings are sensitive to frost and may die at temperatures of -4, -5 °C. The amount of sugar in root crops directly depends on the number of sunny days from August to October. The best yields are achieved on chernozem soils, which promotes maximum sucrose accumulation.

The hybrid Ramonsky MS 46 is distinguished by resistance to root rots and moderate resistance to powdery mildew and cercosporosis, which ensures crop stability and reduces losses from diseases. In addition to use for sugar production, sugar beet waste can be used as animal feed, food product, and fertilizer, making the crop universal and economically profitable for agricultural production.
