Sugar beet Rosa

Stable Yields with Minimal Risk

When dealing with sugar beet, the biggest headache is protecting the crop from pathogens that can devour your margins before harvest even begins.

Field Performance and Resilience

The best part about working with this variety is its inherent immunity. Rhizomania and cercospora, which often lead to significant crop losses in our region, barely manifest in an aggressive form here. Root rots, which frequently plague crops on heavy or waterlogged soils, bypass "Rosa" thanks to its robust genetics. Powdery mildew hasn't been an issue either: the variety keeps its foliage healthy right up until the digging phase.

Root Crop Economics

Achieving 22-23% sugar is a serious result that significantly boosts the procurement price. The cylindrical-conical shape of the root has proven to be very efficient for mechanized harvesting: the beets don't get stuck firmly in the ground, they feed into the harvester's working parts smoothly, and the medium size helps prevent mechanical damage during transport.

• Easy harvesting: The root shape minimizes losses during mechanical operations.
• Chemical savings: A high threshold for cercospora resistance reduces the need for routine treatments.
• High sugar yield: A stable 22-23% sugar content ensures excellent profitability per hectare.

To sum up: "Rosa" is the choice for those who value predictability. It's not the kind of hybrid that requires you to run out with a sprayer every five days. In times when every kilogram counts, such reliability from SoyuzSemSvekla outweighs any questions regarding seed costs.
