Laureate SU

Sunflower seeds of the Laureate SU variety are a high-yielding, disease-resistant hybrid, intended for cultivation under various climatic conditions, including Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones. This mid-season variety with a maturity period of approximately 110-112 days features stable growth throughout all growth stages and high productivity, reaching 35 to 45 centners per hectare. Plant height is about 170 cm, and the flower head diameter reaches 22 cm, contributing to effective yield formation.

Laureate SU exhibits high tolerance to the herbicide Express PX (tribenuron-methyl), facilitating weed control and enhancing the efficiency of the Express cultivation technology. The hybrid is resistant to various races of the parasitic weed dodder (A-G) and possesses high genetic resistance to major diseases, ensuring reliable and stable yields even under adverse conditions.

Oil content in the seeds ranges from 46-50%, and the variety is characterized by high oil quality with elevated oleic acid levels (88-89%), making it attractive for industrial and agricultural production. The recommended sowing rate varies from 45 to 55 thousand seeds per hectare depending on soil moisture, allowing for optimized planting density and increased cultivation profitability.
