Description Kujavia
Sugar beet of the Kujavia variety is a unique Ukrainian product with high yield and sugar content potential. The root has a cylindrical-conical shape, weighs about 700 grams, and penetrates deeply into the soil by 85%, contributing to its good storability and resistance to damage during harvesting. The leaf rosette is medium-sized, semi-spreading, with dark green, medium-thickness leaves and moderately wrinkled surfaces. The root system is taprooted, penetrating to a depth of 2-2.5 meters, providing the plant with drought and cold resistance.

The Kujavia variety exhibits high resistance to major sugar beet diseases, including cercosporosis, powdery mildew, and root rot. The vegetative period lasts up to 120 days, making it suitable for mid-season harvests. Due to its smooth root surface, soil adheres less during harvesting, facilitating collection and reducing product losses.

This variety has universal and non-waste applications. All parts of the plant are useful and can be used in various sectors. Kujavia is widely used in culinary applications for making borscht and kvass, serves as a fodder crop, and is also used for technical purposes in sugar and syrup production. Its high resistance to adverse conditions and diseases makes it a reliable choice for agricultural production.
