Magister

The Magister sugar beet hybrid is a single-seed diploid hybrid based on a sterile N-type, intended for cultivation in regions with climatic conditions of the North Caucasus region and Krasnodar Krai. It is included in the State Register and recommended for cultivation in these zones, confirmed by stable yield and sugar content. The average root yield in the region is about 478.8 centners per hectare, with a sugar content of 17.3%, ensuring high sugar harvest — up to 82.7 centners per hectare.

Magister exhibits high resistance to major sugar beet diseases, including rhizomania and cercospora, significantly reducing yield losses and improving product quality. The hybrid also shows excellent resistance to root rots and demonstrates low susceptibility to powdery mildew and root maggots.
