Sugar beet 6 Y_1301

Yield Stability: The Potential of 6 Й_1301

When selecting sugar beet hybrids for intensive farming, agronomists prioritize two key metrics: potential root mass and phytosanitary resistance. The 6 Й_1301 hybrid from Prodimex (originators: Betasem, Prodimex, Pz Nasha Rodina) is engineered as a solution that minimizes pathogen-related losses without excessive fungicide pressure.

Field Defense Against Diseases

The primary advantage of 6 Й_1301 is its genetic tolerance to a complex of diseases that typically claim 20-30% of sugar beet yields during high-stress seasons:

• Cercospora leaf spot: The variety exhibits robust resistance, which is critical in regions with high humidity and temperatures where the risk of epiphytotics is significant.
• Powdery mildew and rot: Comprehensive resistance helps keep the foliage healthy until harvest, ensuring consistent photosynthesis and sugar accumulation.

Development and Agronomic Management

The 6 Й_1301 root shape is cylindrical-conical, making this hybrid highly compatible with mechanized harvesting. Its large root size necessitates precise control of plant density during sowing. Optimal planting patterns allow the hybrid to maximize its biological potential: large mass combined with correct geometry minimizes harvest losses and simplifies the removal of soil impurities.

This hybrid is recommended for farms utilizing intensive production technologies. It is an ideal choice for high-fertility fields where not only high yield is required, but also predictable performance during storage and delivery to Prodimex processing facilities.
