The vegetative period lasts up to 120 days, and the root crop is deeply buried in the soil, has a cylinder-cone shape and a relatively smooth surface, which facilitates harvesting and reduces soil adhesion.

This variety is distinguished by high resistance to drought, cold, as well as to diseases such as cercosporosis, powdery mildew, and root rot. Thanks to these qualities, 3 Y 1832 is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions and ensures a stable yield. Sugar beet is used not only for the production of sugar and molasses, but also in cooking for preparing borscht and kvass, as well as as a waste-free feed crop.

To protect crops from dicot weeds, the use of a post-emergence herbicide based on sulfonylurea derivatives is recommended.
