Sugar beet 3 Y 1832

Reliable harvest in challenging conditions

When working with sugar beets, choosing a hybrid determines 80% of your success before the machinery even hits the field. The KWS 3 Й 1832 model is a solution for those who prioritize predictability and disease resistance. Over years of field practice, this hybrid has proven to be a workhorse, capable of delivering results where more sensitive varieties lose ground.

Crop health and yield potential

The main headache for beet growers is Cercospora leaf spot and powdery mildew. With the 3 Й 1832, phytosanitary issues are kept at bay. Its genetic resistance to a range of rots allows for significantly reduced fungicide spending, with no fear of severe crop damage during prolonged rains or high humidity. This is not just a budget saving on crop protection, but a guarantee that the root crop reaches harvest in perfect condition.

Root crop characteristics

The cylindrical-conical shape is the «gold standard» for mechanized harvesting. The large size of the 3 Й 1832 root makes the combine operator’s job much easier: it is less prone to damage during extraction, which is critical for long-term storage. Less bruising means higher sugar yield and fewer rot-related issues in clamps.

• High initial growth rate to suppress weeds.
• Excellent adaptability to soil and climate conditions in Germany and Europe.
• Minimal losses during mechanical harvesting due to ideal geometry.

By working with this KWS hybrid, you get a predictable, high-density root crop with sugar quality metrics that remain stable even in high-stress years.
