LUDMILLA KWS — diploid sugar beet hybrid of the sugar type (Z), registered in 2022. This hybrid is distinguished by high yield and high sugar content, making it a reliable choice for producing high-quality sugar. Maximum yield in the Republic of Belarus reaches 101.3 t/ha, and maximum sugar content is 20.8%, indicating high technological potential of the variety.

The hybrid exhibits resistance to major sugar beet diseases, including rhizomania (RZ), cercosporosis (CR), aphanomyces (APH) and fusarium (FUS). In addition, it shows tolerance to powdery mildew (ERY) and ramulariosis (RA), which significantly reduces crop losses and increases production stability. Low contamination of roots and fewer losses from root rots ensure high raw material quality.

LUDMILLA KWS is suitable for various climatic conditions and is characterized by early technological maturity of roots, allowing its use for early harvest periods. The hybrid is characterized by plasticity and enhanced technological qualities of juice, ensuring high sugar yield and making it an optimal choice for producing first-grade sugar.
