KUBANSKY MS 95

KUBANSKY MS 95 is a single-seed diploid hybrid of sugar beet, developed on a sterile basis. The hybrid was created taking into account the features of the North Caucasus region and recommended for cultivation in the Krasnodar Krai. It is characterized by high root yield, which on average reaches 255 centners per hectare, while the mass of one root is about 444 grams. The sugar content in the roots is approximately 19.4%, which ensures sugar collection at the level of 54 centners per hectare.

The hybrid is distinguished by high resistance to major sugar beet diseases, such as Cercosporosis and damage by root-feeding pests, as well as to root rot pathogens. These qualities ensure stable yield and high ecological plasticity, which allows for successful cultivation of the crop in various regional conditions. In addition, the hybrid's roots are well preserved during long-term storage in cold storage, which is important for subsequent processing and product realization.
