Description Daniela
Daniela sugar beet is a high-yielding hybrid developed using advanced ERD technology, ensuring rapid seed germination and strong early plant growth. This hybrid belongs to the normal type with a potential yield of up to 90 tons per hectare and is suitable for cultivation in all sugar beet-growing zones. Daniela features high planting uniformity and the ability to rapidly increase root mass, reaching maximum sugar content at the end of the vegetation period. The roots are oval-conical in shape and sink into the soil by approximately 85%, contributing to their good storability and preservation during storage.

The Daniela hybrid exhibits high resistance to major sugar beet diseases, including cercospora, powdery mildew, and especially rhizomania, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss. Additionally, the variety demonstrates resilience to adverse climatic conditions such as drought and cold, making it a reliable choice for mid-season harvests. The plant’s leaf rosette is of medium size, dark green in color, and spreading in shape, which promotes efficient photosynthesis and root development.

For successful cultivation of Daniela, comprehensive soil mineralization is required before planting and during seedling emergence, ensuring plants receive all necessary nutrients. Sugar beet is warm-loving and prefers an optimal growth temperature of 20-22°C, but can tolerate temperatures above 40°C. Adequate watering is crucial, especially during July-August when root growth is most intensive. Due to its well-developed root system capable of absorbing water from depths up to 2.5 meters, the hybrid is highly resistant to drought. Daniela can also withstand frosts down to -5°C before harvest, preserving the quality and sugar content of the roots until harvest.
