Beetroot variety Dandrieu is a high-yielding hybrid with a cylindrical root of medium size, weighing approximately 700 grams. The plant features a dark green, semi-erect leaf rosette with moderately corrugated blades and a taproot system penetrating up to 2-2.5 meters deep. The root is buried in the soil by 85-95%, has an oval-conical or cylindrical-conical shape with a relatively smooth surface, facilitating harvesting and reducing soil adhesion.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to various adverse factors, including drought, cold, powdery mildew, rhizomania, cercospora, and root rot. It is also resistant to lodging and bolting, contributing to a stable yield. The vegetative period lasts up to 120 days, making this variety suitable for early and mid-season harvests. Leaves are dark green, semi-erect with wavy edges, and the plant possesses good storability.

Beetroot Dandrieu has high yield and sugar potential, making it in demand in various applications. It is used in culinary preparations for borscht and kvass, as well as a by-product-free feed crop. Additionally, the variety is suitable for technical processing, including sugar and molasses production. Seeds are treated with a high-quality fungicide and meet high quality standards, ensuring germination exceeding 90%, purity over 99%, and uniformity over 95%.
