Beet sugar variety Dante is a high-yielding variety with high sugar content, reaching 100-120 g/kg. The root has an oval-conical shape with a burgundy color and is about 85% buried in the soil. The leaf rosette is medium-sized, dark green, and spreading. This variety is characterized by resistance to drought, cold, various diseases, and bolting, which ensures good storability and allows cultivation in various regions on open ground. To achieve maximum yield, which may exceed 70 tons per hectare, optimal agronomic conditions are recommended. Timely sowing is crucial, preferably early, such as March 20 or April 1. Proper application of mineral fertilizers with the norm N200P100K240 significantly affects yield, where nitrogen is recommended in the ratio of 1/3 ammonium nitrate and 2/3 urea. Additionally, treatment with magnesium sulfate and the microfertilizer Intermag-beet is beneficial. Dante variety seeds are produced in Turkey and supplied in 1-gram packages containing 50-70 seeds, as well as in 1000-seed packages weighing 14-20 grams. Due to its characteristics and resistance, this variety is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions and is recommended for medium harvest times, making it an attractive choice for agricultural producers focused on high quality and stable yield.
