Sunflower Attila

Stable yields in a short timeframe

The early-maturing sunflower hybrid "Atilla" from VNIS breeders is the solution to one of the industry's biggest challenges: achieving high oil yields when the climate window for harvest is shrinking. With a vegetation period of 90–100 days, this hybrid offers excellent flexibility in crop rotation, allowing fields to be cleared for winter crops as early as late August.

Genetic phytosanitary defense

The core strength of "Atilla" lies in its genetic resistance. Unlike many varieties that require intensive fungicide treatments, this hybrid shows high tolerance to a wide complex of pathogens:

• Complete immunity to downy mildew and major rot types (white and gray rot).
• Strong defense against phoma, phomopsis, and rust.
• High resistance to powdery mildew.

This protective profile allows agronomists to optimize their fungicide budget without compromising the final yield.

Technical specifications

The plant grows to a moderate height (160–170 cm) with a flat-shaped, medium-sized head that ensures uniform seed filling. With an oil content of 50–55%, this sunflower is highly attractive to processors who prioritize high-quality oil extraction per ton of raw material.

Why choose "Atilla"?

This hybrid is an optimal choice for farms located in drought-prone areas or regions with unpredictable weather patterns. Its early maturity ensures the crop is harvested before the onset of extreme summer heat or prolonged autumn rains. It does not require complex or unique agronomic practices, making it a reliable solution for producers focused on economic efficiency and cost-effective management.
