A triploid hybrid with one seed, based on a sterile foundation, for yield and sugar-oriented purposes. The hybrid is characterized by high technological qualities of raw material. It is resistant to cercosporosis and root rot, and meets the requirements of intensive cultivation technology. Seeds of the hybrid are obtained according to an original scheme based on author's certificates No. 1606039, 1584836 (USSR).
During its testing at State Variety Testing Stations (1999-2001), the hybrid received high ratings and demonstrated:
Root crop yield, centners per hectare: 455
Sugar content, %: 17.0
Sugar harvest, centners per hectare: 77.5
Sugar output at the factory, centners per hectare: 62.8
Colorfulness, %: 0.0
The hybrid has been included in the Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine since 2002, recommended for cultivation in the Forest-Steppe zone.
