Fodder beet Kubanskii CH 36

Genetic Potential of the "Kubanskyi ChS 36" Hybrid

This sugar beet hybrid from the Ukrainian producer VNIS is a diploid variety designed for high adaptability to various growing environments. In modern agro-industrial conditions, the selection focus for this hybrid is on maintaining a precise balance between crop biomass and technological sugar content. "Kubanskyi ChS 36" falls into the Normal-Sugar (NZ) category, making it a reliable solution for processing facilities aiming for stable yields.

Biological Protection and Agronomic Efficiency

A critical factor in sugar beet production is pathogen resistance, particularly against Cercospora leaf spot. The foliage of "Kubanskyi ChS 36" shows significant tolerance to this pathogen, allowing growers to reduce fungicide applications while maintaining the photosynthetic area throughout the second half of the growing season. This is essential for achieving sugar content levels of 17-18%.

• Ploidy: The diploid type ensures optimal plant density and uniform root development.
• Classification: The Normal-Sugar (NZ) type is engineered for a consistent sugar yield per hectare while maintaining high root tonnage.
• Phytosanitary Stability: Strong resistance to Cercospora preserves crop productivity even in high-pressure disease environments.

The use of this hybrid is justified for farms focusing on intensive cultivation technologies, ensuring both predictable sugar output and excellent raw material quality.
