The hybrid sugar beet Asketa is a medium-early variety belonging to the Rz - Cr class, characterized by high resistance to root rots, rhizomania, and cercosporosis. This hybrid has increased sugar content and high sugar yield, making it attractive for cultivation in farms with long supply periods. Asketa retains well in kagatas, ensuring convenient storage of the harvest after collection.

Asketa demonstrates high stress resistance, especially under mechanical inter-row processing, and tolerates drought well, although it is optimally grown with irrigation. The hybrid is adapted to various soil conditions, including flooded soils, which broadens its application possibilities across different regions. Sowing seeds is recommended in early spring, as soon as weather conditions permit, at a germination temperature of +5°C, with an optimal growth temperature of 13-15°C.

Sugar beet Asketa is an important crop for sugar production, as modern varieties contain 18-20% sugar. To achieve high yield and sugar content, sufficient light is necessary, as its deficiency negatively affects plant development. Due to its characteristics and resistance to pathogens, Asketa is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including arid regions, and is recommended for farms aiming for stable and high-quality harvests.
