Description Kutnowska
Kutnowska — sugar beet hybrid developed by Kutnowska Hodowla Buraka Cukrowego Sp.zo.o, which has been cooperating with Belarusian scientific institutions for over 15 years. This hybrid is included in the State Register of Varieties and Plants and is recommended for cultivation in the Central Chernozem, North Caucasus, and Ural regions of Russia. As a result of joint breeding efforts, high-yielding sugar beet hybrids, including Kutnowska, have been created, possessing good agronomic characteristics and adapted to various climatic conditions.

The hybrid is characterized by high root yield, averaging 435–509 centners per hectare, with individual root weight ranging from 554 to 603 grams. Sugar content in roots varies from 15.6% to 18.1%, ensuring high sugar harvest — up to 82 centners per hectare. These indicators make Kutnowska an attractive choice for sugar factories and agricultural producers focused on maximizing yield and product quality.

The hybrid's plants demonstrate resistance to several diseases, although in some cases, infection by cercospora and root rot may occur. Nevertheless, the hybrid maintains stable productivity and root quality. Due to its characteristics, Kutnowska is suitable for cultivation in various agroclimatic zones, ensuring a reliable and efficient sugar beet harvest.
