Description Azamat
AZAMAT — this is a hybrid sugar beet (Beta vulgaris L. ssp. vulgaris var. saccharifera Alef.), developed for high yield and quality sugar content. It is a single-stemmed diploid hybrid on a sterile Z-type base, characterized by medium plant growth and medium maturity. Root mass varies from 565 to 654 grams, ensuring significant production when grown.

The hybrid is included in the State Register of Selection Achievements for the Central and North Caucasus regions of Russia and is recommended for cultivation in Rostov and Tula regions. In the Central region, average yield reaches 612 centners per hectare with sugar content around 19.4%, ensuring sugar harvest of more than 120 centners per hectare. In the North Caucasus region, yield indicators amount to about 607 centners per hectare, sugar content — 17.8%, and sugar harvest — 112 centners per hectare.

AZAMAT is distinguished by resistance to root rots and pests such as root-eating insects, enhancing harvest reliability and stability. The hybrid is adapted to various climatic conditions, making it a universal choice for agronomists aiming to obtain high-quality sugar beet with good yield and stable sugar content.
