KASKAD E — sugar beet hybrid (Beta vulgaris L. ssp. vulgaris var. saccharifera Alef.), representing a single-seed anisoploid hybrid on a sterile E-type base. This variety is distinguished by its early maturity and high yield, making it in demand in various regions, including the Central, Volga-Vyatka, Central-Black Earth, and North Caucasus. The root crop mass reaches about 520-530 grams, which facilitates efficient harvest collection.

KASKAD E demonstrates high sugar content in root crops — from 16.4% to 18.3%, ensuring significant sugar collection, reaching up to 66.8-75.3 centners per hectare in some regions. Such indicators make this hybrid attractive for the sugar industry, providing stable and high-quality raw material.

In terms of resistance to diseases and pests, KASKAD E shows medium and high susceptibility to root borer and powdery mildew, as well as cercosporosis. Despite this, the hybrid maintains high productivity and sweetness, indicating its adaptive properties and suitability for cultivation in various climatic conditions.
