Fodder beet Arrata

Stable yields and high sugar content in any conditions

The sugar beet hybrid "Arrata" from the VNIS breeding center is the choice for agronomists focused on achieving a perfect balance between root weight and raw material quality. As an NZ-type (Normal-Sugar) triploid hybrid, it delivers excellent field results, ensuring both high tonnage and a consistent sugar yield of 17–18%.

Key Operational Advantages

• Pathogen Resistance: Arrata demonstrates strong tolerance to Cercospora leaf spot and powdery mildew. This allows for fewer fungicide applications, directly reducing production costs per hectare.
• Ease of Handling: Uniform root growth simplifies mechanical harvesting, minimizing losses during combine operations.
• Adaptability: The hybrid shows great flexibility across different soil types, making it a reliable production choice for farms with varying agronomic conditions.

Arrata is ideal for operations where consistency is paramount. Thanks to its triploid genetics, the hybrid features high germination energy and a robust leaf canopy that quickly covers the rows, naturally suppressing weeds in the early growth stages. For the producer, this translates to savings on herbicide programs and optimized labor input.

In the Ukrainian climate, Arrata has proven to be a reliable solution for regions with moderate moisture, ensuring excellent root appearance and optimal storage quality during transport to processing facilities.
