Sugar beet 6 KF 1125

Working with the 6 KF 1125 hybrid

Choosing the right sugar beet hybrid for intensive farming involves balancing yield potential with pest resistance. The 6 KF 1125 hybrid from Prodimex has proven to be a reliable choice, offering consistent performance with a manageable crop protection program.

Disease resistance and field performance

One of the key advantages of 6 KF 1125 is its strong tolerance to powdery mildew, which helps save on unnecessary fungicide sprays throughout the season. Furthermore, the hybrid shows excellent resistance to late blight (phytophthora). This stability ensures that the leaf mass stays healthy until harvest, allowing the roots to accumulate sugar without stress.

Harvesting efficiency

The oval-conical shape of the root is well-suited for modern mechanical harvesting. The roots are easily lifted from the soil with minimal damage, which is crucial for storage quality. Because of the smooth surface, soil adhesion is low, putting less strain on the harvesting equipment’s cleaning systems and allowing for higher operational speeds.

• Easy cleaning: the root shape facilitates efficient mechanical cleaning.
• Genetic reliability: developed by reputable originators (Betasem, Prodimex, Pz Nasha Rodina).
• Economic value: predictable sugar yields combined with reduced chemical intervention.

For those looking for a hybrid that combines natural durability with ease of processing, 6 KF 1125 is a rational investment. It handles typical field stress well, making it a dependable choice for large-scale production.
